UK Music To Host Music Industry Seminar On Gender & Ethnicity Pay Gap Reporting
12.01.2022: UK Music and the UK Music Diversity Taskforce are hosting an online seminar to help clear up some of the uncertainty around gender and ethnicity pay gap reporting.
Ahead of the Government’s April 4 deadline for gender pay gap reporting for companies with over 250 employees, the seminar will look at what gender and ethnicity pay gap reporting is and what it means for music industry businesses.
The seminar, titled Gender, Ethnic & Equal Pay Gap: What Does It Actually Mean & Does It Really Matter?, will take place on Tuesday January 25 at 4pm-5:30pm.
The event will see Tom Heys and Colin Leckey from top commercial law firm Lewis Silkin discuss the topic with UK Music’s Diversity Taskforce Chair Ammo Talwar and Co-Chair Paulette Long.
